Beef Short Ribs are a multipurpose cut, well suited to slow cooks, as well as marinating and popping under the grill or on the barbecue. Left on the bone for maximum flavour, these ribs promise melting quality, showcasing the rich quality of the rib meat of our grass fed beef.
Also called the short plate (or "long plate" depending on where it's separated from the rib primal above it), the beef plate primal includes the short ribs. It is also where the skirt steak is located, which is used in carne asada. Since it has coarse muscle fibers, be sure to slice it against the grain or it will be chewy.
Due to the upcoming Easter weekend, we will be closing with our order cut-off for all orders at midnight, Tuesday 31st March. Please place your orders before then to avoid missing out. We will return to normal operation on Tuesday 7th April in-shā-Allāh.
Please note, our order cut-off has now passed. All orders placed after midnight, Sunday 15th March selecting delivery this week will be at the discretion of our processing team. Our final dispatch is Wednesday 18th March in-shā-Allāh and we will return to regular operation on Monday 23rd March.
